Join us as we head to downtown Indianapolis to watch the 500 Festival Parade on Saturday, 5/24 from 12:00–approximately 3:00. We have a group of 25 tickets available to self-advocates and their families who would like to attend this event free of charge. Festivities start at 11:45 but it is strongly suggested to be in the downtown area no later than 11:00am as this area is very congested the morning of the event. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. These tickets provide “festival seating” which includes seats along the parade route. Transportation and parking is the responsibility of each self-advocate and family. Anyone attending will meet at the designated seats and must be able to navigate from the parking area to the seats on their own or with the necessary supports. Tickets can be picked up at upcoming ILADD events or mailed directly to you.
